Give and Take is a theme that appears throughout Romeo and Juliet. Take a look at what was given and what was taken, then discuss whether or not the outcome was worth the sacrifices made. (Death was not the only sacrifice made.)

the outcome WAS NOT worth the sacrafice, they are stupid. No outcome is worth death, they could have gotton the two groups together with out death.
i think juliet should have left with romeo to that one place. her family really sucks anway. then the families might have realized that they need to get along in order to get their kids back.

I think that the deaths of Romeo and Juliet were worth the reconciliation of their families. Without them dying I think that more people would die later on.

I think there is a good reason to each side. If Romeo and Juliet wouldn't have died there would have been more problems that would have erupted for awhile, but the problems would probably have been eventually solved. But if we had our way we wouldn't have wanted Romeo and Juliet to die because their sacrifices weren't worth death because they deserved to live.
beyond the graves you are right but i think it would get worst because they would blame each other for taking their child

Give & Take.....throughout the story both families give war twords each other so then lives are what are taken...more than that love is taken because an argument is started. best friends are taken because thought of hate are given and loss of friendships because of reasons they dont even know.
